If your business sells or installs systems you have 2 choices with RECs and VEECs. The first option is to let your customer do the paperwork themselves - give them the assignment forms to complete then we'll pay them directly. The second option, which is more common, is to give your customer a point of sale discount - get your customer to sign the paperwork then send it to us and we'll pay you directly. Either way, if you’d like us to tailor our assignment forms with your logo and details give us a call on 03 9805 0700 or email us

If you're the system owner and are looking to get paid for the RECs or VEECs, you’ll also need to fill in the assignment form below.
REC assignment forms
RECs can be claimed for eligible solar hot water and heat pumps, solar PV systems and small wind generation units. Visit our REC pages for information.
The right to create RECs can only be assigned once. The process is pretty straight forward, you complete the assignment form which has to be signed by the system owner. You also send us a proof of installation (your certificate of compliance or C.E.S. is ideal). If we're paying a business then we'll also need an invoice to Green Energy Trading for the RECs + GST.
We'd strongly suggest that if you're new to this you refer to the Checklist for assigning RECs below.
