Ric Brazzale, BComm, MBA
Director
Ric Brazzale is the Director of Green Energy Trading and has more than 25 years’ experience in the energy sector. Over the last 10 years, Ric was the Executive Director of the Business Council for Sustainable Energy, BCSE, (now the Clean Energy Council) and in this role he was a leading advocate of sustainable energy. During this time Ric was actively involved in the development and implementation of a broad range of solar energy and energy efficiency policies and programs, including the government’s initial REC Advisory Committee. Prior to joining the BCSE Ric worked in a number of business development and finance roles with West Coast Energy, Fletcher Challenge Energy, John Holland and Woodside Petroleum.
Miriam Butcher
Compliance & Development Manager
Miriam joined the team at Green Energy Trading in August 2008 and has held the roles of Data Processing Manager, Systems and Compliance Manager and now Compliance and Development Manager. With a focus on developing the business through continuous improvement, she oversees the definition and implementation of new service offerings and products into systems and processes. Miriam is responsible for ensuring compliance with the requirements of government regulators and ensures that we maintain best practice both internally and with our clients.With a background in photography, she spent 4 years working in labs both here and in New Zealand. Miriam began her career in the renewable energy industry at the Business Council for Sustainable Energy, BCSE (now the Clean Energy Council).
Anthony Williams B Comm CPA
Manager Environmental Markets
Anthony started with the Green Energy group in 2009 working as a consultant to Green Energy Trading, applying his compliance and process improvement background to GET’s certificate registration processes. In 2010 he became a permanent member of the team as the Manager Environmental Markets. In this role he is responsible for certificate trading and also manages the Market Analysis team in Green Energy Markets. Anthony majored in Finance as part of his commerce degree and is also a Certified Practicing Accountant. Prior to 2009 Anthony spent nine years working in Melbourne and London with BP in their Indirect Tax team.
Kristine Ash, BA (Hons)
Marketing & Client Relations Manager
Kristine completed a BA (Hons) at Exeter University Majoring in Geography with ancillary Economics and Sociology and worked for large corporations in the UK. On moving to Australia she spent some time working in the not-for-profit sector. Her work in fundraising, marketing and communications included a global excellence award for brand development and the management of national awareness campaigns. Her work has centred around client relations and she is passionate that Green Energy Trading focuses on meeting client needs. Kristine is an Affiliate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Member of the Fundraising Institute of Australia.
Tom O'Hanlon
Data Processing Manager
Tom joined GET in March 2009 and is responsible for our certificate registration team. Before joining GET, Tom was in the UK for three years working in recruitment and the incentives industry. Tom’s background in Australia is in banking with ANZ and NAB.
Dexter Tan
Finance & Accounts Manager
Dexter has more than 9 years experience in finance and treasury management. He first joined GET as Accounts Payable Officer in 2009 and has since overseen the finance and accounts department with keen emphasis on cash flow management, tax compliance, and management accounting. Before joining GET, he was Chief Accountant for more than 7 years with the Tristar Group of Companies which is a major exporter of agricultural products. He holds a Master in Management degree from the University of the Philippines and is a registered Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines. He is an associate member of CPA Australia and is currently completing his CPA Program studies.
