Solar Credits making an impact

One of the most hotly debated changes in our industry this year was the introduction of Solar Credits – aka phantom RECs. We first looked at this first back on September 14Solar Credits making an impact, now we have several months of data and can see how this has impacted. PV RECs have grown dramatically over the last few months increasing from 144,000 in September to 200,000 in October and to  a whopping 341,000 in November. Solar Credits have been driving this increase and we estimate that since September 75% of all solar PV RECs have come from Solar Credits.
